Femme Riot Fest is a conceptual three-day music festival honoring the legacy of the Riot Grrrl movement through music, art, and activism. Developed as part of the Connect TogetHer Mentorship Program through She Is The Music, this project allowed me to collaborate with a Columbia Records marketing professional, gaining insight into high-level marketing strategies used for artists like Blink-182. I created a comprehensive marketing plan, blending creative branding, audience engagement, and digital marketing strategies while refining my marketing skills through mentorship feedback.
Set to take place at Seattle Center, WA, Femme Riot Fest embraces a DIY punk aesthetic and utilizes guerrilla marketing, social media campaigns, influencer partnerships, and community collaborations to foster an inclusive and empowering space for femme, nonbinary, and women-led punk artists. This project strengthened my ability to connect storytelling with marketing, a skill transferable to event planning, content creation, and brand development.
